Liz is a blazing fast forward from Merced. She is transfering to Cal State Stanislaus from Salem College in Winston Salem North Carolina. In her one season playing for NCAA Division III Salem College she scored 13 goals and had 12 assists for 38 points in just 12 games. For her efforts she was honored as the 2007 Association of Division III Independents Women's Soccer Most Valuable Player. Liz played her club soccer for the California Cougars and coach Mark Kusanovich."Liz certainly has the type of speed that kills. She will get in behind the defense and cause lots of problems for the opponent. Liz is also very comfortable playing both on the left and the right wing. We tried very hard to recruit Liz coming out of high school and are thrilled to have her joining our team as a sophomore. I expect her to be an impact player next fall and to be a part of a very dynamic forward line." -- Coach Bolton
