Marissa Dunaway -- Forward -- Gilroy, Calif.

Marissa is an explosive forward out of the Bay Area who can play both on the wing and in the center. She is a two-time All-League first team selection for her high school team, Leigh High School, and has twice been named to the San Jose Mercury News All-Area team. She played her high school soccer for coach Michele Kennedy. Leigh High School is also the home of current Warrior standout Jessica Sitarz. Marissa and Jessica were teammates for two years at Leigh. Marissa is also a member of one of the top under-18 girls club teams in Northern California the Los Gatos Lock coached by Joan Meulman. Marissa will be majoring in business with an emphasis in marketing.

"Marissa is exactly the type of speedy wing player that is critical to our offense. She has the speed and athletic ability to get in behind defenses but she also has the skill and composure to keep possession of the ball. Marissa also has a knack for scoring goals."
